The 2027 African Games will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from 20 January to 7 February 2027. This major continental multi-sport event will bring together athletes from across Africa to compete in various Olympic and non-Olympic disciplines. The Games will also serve as a qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. It marks Egypt’s second time hosting the event, the first being in 1991.
